In the olden days people used to commute by bullock carts, Rickshaws and used donkeys for carrying heavy things. They also used Horses for travelling to faraway places.
They used Dove, Pigeon and Parrots for sending letters.

Later they invented Boats for Water transport.
    Bicycles and some motor vehicles.

  3. Long long time ago , people use to walk to travel from one place to another. Then they learnt to use animals like camels, horses and elephants. Later people made boats out of wood which helped to travel on water. With further development men invented steam engines, planes, ships, space ships and lastly electric trains.

  5. Well done everyone! I am glad to see you have done some great research and are using your own words to describe what you have found. You are also using the writing skills we learnt in class such as commas in a list. Keep it up!

How to travel in the past and in the present

In the past there were no modern means of transport like the ones that we see today. You could only travel using donkeys, mules, camel, elephants, horses, carriages, rowing boats and carts. Nowadays we can travel by train, cars, buses, aeroplanes, motorbikes, bikes, ships and scooter. The difference between the present day and the past is today we can travel faster compared to the past, for example: It takes 9 hours to travel to India in an aeroplane and 1 month to India in boat .

  8. In the earlier days people used different modes of transport to travel like carriages driven by donkeys, horses, camels and cows. It took many days for people to travel from one place to another. In modern days people are travelling by planes, Trains, Ships, Cars and Buses to far away places in just few hours.
